Cómo Se Celebra el Día Del Profesor en el Mundo

Hoy se celebra el Día del Profesor en todo el mundo, este año el eslogan es “Empoderar al profesorado para construir sociedades sostenibles' y tiene como objetivo reconocer los esfuerzos y sacrificios que los profesores hacen para lograr sociedades sostenibles con una educación de calidad. 

Como hemos dicho, el evento tiene un alcance internacional, pero ¿cómo se celebra en todo el mundo?

En Tailandia, por ejemplo, hoy no hay clases, en Estados Unidos se celebra el día a lo grande, con actividades dedicadas a los profesores, mientras que en Ucrania por ejemplo, los profesores toman la calle con conciertos y discursos para ensalzar el papel del docente.

En nuestro país por ejemplo, se ha tornado un evento más de caracter reivindicativo con movilizaciones en pro de la educación de calidad y contra los recortes y reformas educativas sucedidas en estos últimos años. 

Como queremos rendir un particular homenaje a los que dejan huella en nuestra educación, ya sea de idiomas o bien de cualquier otra disciplina, aquí te dejamos algunas citas en inglés que te harán reflexionar sobre la docencia.
